Previously here on our site, I discussed with you some general tips for Far Cry 5, as you can see in this link.

However, in recent weeks several people have contacted me via e-mail to make a request: the exact location of silos, wolf beacons and shrines, which are present all over the map. The reason for this is that, after a certain point in these missions, there are no markers on the map that indicate the exact position.

The purpose of this little tutorial will be to show you the exact position of these points of interest.

Important Observations:

  • Version 1.011 was used as the basis for the preparation of this tutorial. If you are reading this tutorial at a later date, some tips may not be valid, so stay tuned.
  • Bearing in mind that I need to use high detail images for you be able to see exactly where the points of interest are, I used the 4k resolution. Here on the website will be used images compressed in .jpg format, but at the end of the tutorial I put an external link with the high quality images in .png.

Quest: Light'em Up – Target: 14 Silos in Holland Valley

John Seed region in the game, called Holland Valley, is filled with silos, they are 14 in total. There are not many silos at the lower end of the map, but the vast majority actually lies in the central region of the map.

The silos are very tall and red, with a cult symbol painted in white.

To destroy them just shoot with a helicopter, plane or a bazooka. If you do not have access to any of them, just approach the silo, shoot with any firearm in the electronic panel at the bottom. You will notice that there will be a gas leak, so just throw an explosive, like a grenade or a dynamite.

Note that by clicking on the image, instead of opening the link in theater mode (like the first photo in this tutorial), I forced a new tab to open, then you can zoom in more easily. Points of interest are represented by a black flag.

I tried to zoom the map a bit more, but unfortunately it ended up cutting one of the markers, so I had to use a lower zoom level.

Quest: False Idols – Target: 16 Shrines in Henbane River

Faith Seed region in the game, called Henbane River, is full of shrines, they are 16 in total. Unlike the previous region, the location of these targets is extremely spaced.

The shrines look like little sanctuaries of white color. It is easy to identify them by the green gas (Blessing) that leaks all the time.

To destroy them just shoot with a helicopter, plane or a bazooka. If you do not have access to any of them, just approach and shoot with any firearm in the red gas canister that is inside the shrine. You will notice that there will be a gas leak, so just throw an explosive like grenades or dynamites. Depending on the explosive, it may be necessary to throw it into the small opening, it so that it falls into the red gas canister. Note that there are usually civilians nearby, so if you want to avoid kills them by accident, first clear the area.

Note that by clicking on the image, instead of opening the link in theater mode (like the first photo in this tutorial), I forced a new tab to open, then you can zoom in more easily. Points of interest are represented by a black flag.

Quest: Call of the Wild – Target: 10 Wolf Beacons in Whitetail Mountains

Jacob Seed region in the game, called the Whitetail Mountains, is filled with wolf beacons, they are 10 in total. Like the previous region, the location of these targets is extremely spaced.

The wolf emitters are built with wood, which has speakers on the top, and can be identified by a strong red light (especially at night).

To destroy them just shoot with a helicopter, plane or a bazooka. If you do not have access to any of them, just approach the beacon, shoot with any firearm on the generator, which is located at the bottom. Note that there are usually wolves around, so if you're on the ground, prepare for combat.

Note that by clicking on the image, instead of opening the link in theater mode (like the first photo in this tutorial), I forced a new tab to open, then you can zoom in more easily. Points of interest are represented by a black flag.

Full View

If you wish, you can have a complete view of the map, showing the points of interest that are relevant to you, as shown in the image below:

To do this, just open this link. To do so click on the icon that appears in the bottom right, among the options that appeared, choose the Eden's Gate category, followed by Cult Structures. Note that for this you must first choose the option: I'm okay with spoilers.

As promised, you have reached the end of the tutorial and so I will leave the link with the original images in high definition. You can download the file using this link or this one. Note that the file protected, and the password is: www.brunokitsune.net.
